funny...

the conservative has made observations on the driving of liberals
which contradicts my personal findings

as a cyclist there are many things to look at for cues on what to expect

make and model of car
condition of car
from there it goes on...

the bumper stickers
well...
I would like to say that the stickers indicate how someone would drive
but I am not so certain that my findings are unbiased

we often see what we want to see

I think that road rage is dangerous
when driving it pisses me off more if a person does something obnoxious or ignorant and then I do not agree with the political beliefs stated on their bumper sticker

I have bumper stickers on my car
most of them bicycle or mountain bike related
political bumper stickers...
well... as it may be a place to showcase your ideals
the highway is a dangerous place to start the discussion

DC is not only international
but very diverse nationally

drivers from Massachusetts have a reputation for driving like MASS-Holes!

Very interesting! This is something I've always wondered about living in Massachusetts but not being a native of this state. I've noticed that the local drivers with liberal-leaning bumper stickers (lots of them here) tend also to be more aggressive drivers.

Also, in February I was rear-ended on the highway by a younger driver who told me that he was reading my "interesting" bumper stickers. One of them was "Aragorn/Gandalf 08" and the other was a pro-life bumper sticker. After the body work, I now have refrained from putting bumper stickers on my car. As we approach the coming election, I may put one back on and pray for no more accidents.
