    It strikes me as reasonable to think that getting in your car and driving 719 miles down the interstate is going to be a lot safer than driving 719 miles around a typical city. Is there any data that segments the risk of driving between city and highway? Near as I can tell, the usual sources for this information lumps it all together. And since a huge fraction of all driving is local, and city based, this may be skewing the risk ratio Sivak computes.
