If that's true, they should expect the speeding cars to be sailing into the field there near the cemetery. Irony! A better solution in my opinion would be a stop sign or even speed bumps. Drivers flying around a curve like this are taking other chances on other roads ALL THE TIME. Cutting down this tree is a silly band-aid. Town officials could also try technology and install camera's. That could bring in some revenue, as well, if it were tied to speeding tickets. If I owned my home there, I would sue because removing the tree increases the danger to my house. Anyone who hits a tree from now on could argue that the city failed to remove the "unsafe" tree as they had in the past.
