		<description>My opinion is that the technology for automated vehicles will come about in the relatively near future (perhaps another decade), but several obstacles will keep it from a full deployment for at least an additional decade or two.  (1) What to do with the previous car stock -- all those "classic" cars from the 90's and the antiques from the 80's and earlier.  (2) The privacy lobby that is concerned about who is doing the driving &#38; what is happening with that info.  (3) The liability should there be a malfunction.  (4) What to do for the recreational drivers who just love the feel of pavement (this is the camp I fall into, so long as I'm not staring at the rear bumper ahead of me).</description>
