This is a great experiment. I hope that footage like this could be viewed by millions and millions of drivers. I like to say that driving is not a multitasking activity. Try multitasking and having sex! You just don't do it! Don't drive and multitask!

I have many neighbors who don't use their cell phones or other communication devices until they back out of the driveway. I suppose they realize that driving time is a waste of time and they want their time in the car to be more productive. Since many are in their cars at the same time during rush hours, drivers see even more opportunities to communicate collectively.

There are many other distraction in driving these life threatening vehicles that should be limited. I now see drivers text messaging while listening to their iPod. Cyclists, pedestrians, etc. are out of sight-out of mind.

Trouble is that caption telling you about the 400% increase in accidents should've stayed on the video another two or three seconds and have been in a larger more contrasty font.

Otherwise good for Castrol. I hope it plays often.

Although I doubt it will make a difference.
