		<description>The crosswalk sign signals "WALK" so my son starts to walk through the busy 6-lanes.  Soon a car from a street perpendicular to the one he is crossing makes a right turn on a green light.  My son has to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.  "WALK" signs are often dangerous as they are part of a dysfunctional system that favors cars over people.

Interesting he knows the license plate as he has seen the car many times before since the parent is always rushing to drop their child off at the same school.</description>

		<description>Better then the SPLINK one at any rate. I wish people in the US could be trained to not stand right on the edge of the sidewalk while waiting. In some cases they stand 6 inches out into the street, oblivious to the fact that a car could clip them with a mirror and the driver might not even realize it.</description>
