Snow Job

Reader Pat sends along a photo he snapped of the old Glenn Highway near Anchorage, Alaska. In case you can’t make it out, the sign after the avalanche warning notes “School Bus Stop Ahead.”

One Response to “Snow Job”

  1. Tony Toews Says:

Hehehehe. Thanks for the clarification on the School Bus Stop sign.

Having extensively traveled throughout British Columbia I see these signs all the time. I’m only really concerned when I don’t see any trees beside the road. Mature trees at the side of the road means there hasn’t been an avalanche for a few decades right there.

Of course if a really big one happens well….
