I think you can see that even in the picture at the top of this blog post (on the left). Notice the spaces are darker near the building and become lighter as you go away. At a glanc you can see that about 20% of the lot is rarely ever used.

Yes Joni but there are guys out there who design them as nightmares, for drivers and pedestrians. Wrigley Field made it obvious for me that lots are unnecessary, most are all about creating incivility and greater risks.

But I have friends who refuse to go anywhere unless there is plenty of free parking.
